Meryl Lynn Ranzer is a versatile artist with a rich background in fashion, education, activism, and organizing. With over 30 years of experience in fashion, she has created collections for renowned brands such as Bloomingdales and Victoria’s Secret. As an educator, she teaches at institutions like Kent State University and the Fashion Institute of Technology. Meryl is also an accomplished artist, having exhibited her work in NYC and collaborated on projects with notable figures like Eve Ensler, creator of the Vagina Monologues. In addition to her creative pursuits, she is deeply involved in mutual aid, advocating for immigration justice and abolition. Meryl’s work in immigration justice includes roles as Social Media Manager and Organizer at New Sanctuary Coalition and as Comms Director at Respond Crisis Translation. Meryl was a founder of the 2019 international vigil Lights for Liberty, during Trump’s immigration family separation policy. After the event, she stepped down from her role with L4L.
